Monika Deviat Photography is offering a one-year mentorship to an Indigenous photographer who would like to develop in genres related to the outdoors – nature, adventure, landscape, wildlife, etc. The mentee sets the overall objectives for this program. This program can be done completely virtually, so the applicant can be from anywhere in Canada. Guidance can be provided on technical aspects of photography, creativity, social media, websites, business, etc.
If the mentee would like to set up a few in person in-the-field sessions, this can be arranged as well, depending on Monika’s availability. The mentee will be responsible for all associated costs with any travel.

There are no requirements for gear or experience. The applicant should have some camera equipement already to practice with.
