It can be many years between the time I envision a shoot and when I get to shoot it. The wait ended up being worth it for this image. The year I finally went to get this shot, Jupiter and Saturn were following behind the Milky Way. They are the two bright spots straddling the shark fin shaped peak. The position of planets in relation to the Milky Way changes every year, changing how I choose to create my compositions sometimes.
