I’m not sure how I was able to spot this bear as I was driving along. I think the lightest part of its fur caught my eye and I slowed down trying to figure out if I actually saw something. It wasn’t until I had my 700mm lens on it, that I realized it was a sleeping bear. As I was taking my first few shots, it put its paw over it’s face, just like my cat does. I did edit out some branches and “messy” things that were in the darker sections of the trees in the background.

All my wild life images have been taken with long lenses. Do not approach or feed wildlife.
